Cwmcarn Institute
Cwmcarn Institute, or to give it the full title "Cwmcarn Village Hall and Miners Institute", was established in 1924. "
It is a hub for local weekly activities which include:
- The Book Nook - our community library
- Cwm Craft - our adult craft meetings
- Cwmcarn Rollers - Board games night
- Stay and Play - children's event (term time)
- Coffee Morning - coffee, cake and friendly chatter
- Caerphilly Youth Crosskeys - Monday Year 6+, Wednesday Year 6 & 7 only (more information below)
- Party / Room Bookings
- The Institute have a lounge and a function room available for party's & private functions

Cwm Craft - our adult craft meetings, where you bring your own project and join us for a hot or cold drink, a chat and to share knowledge
- Monday 6pm to 8pm
- Charge: £2 - includes hot drink & biscuits
Cwmcarn Rollers - Games Night - come and join us for an evening of board games and a hot drink & snacks
- Tuesday 6.30pm to 8.30pm
- Charge: £3 per person
- Stay and Play - an afternoon event to let the children play whilst you enjoy a hot or cold drink
- Wednesday 3pm to 4.30pm
- Charge: £3 per family
Coffee Morning - a place to have a coffee and a cake with friendly chatter
